Ellio’s Pizza

Ellio’s Pizza is a frozen pizza brand fueled by nostalgia and wacky family-friendly fun.
While working with BFG, I spearheaded the creative content for Ellio's’ social media, providing illustrations, branding, ideation and more.

Process
Brainstorm
I start with a word list to get down all of my initial ideas. I consider Mom’s tension points for that month, seasonal themes, and factor in nostalgia and childhood fun.
Sketch
I then take my best ideas and translate them into sketch form. As a group, my team and I identify which ideas to pursue.
Color Exploration
I take to Pinterest to gather images with inspirational color schemes. For this one, I chose these colors because they were summery but slightly masculine, keeping with the theme of “fishing with Dad”.
Tight Sketch
I import my rough sketch into Photoshop, lower the transparency, and draw a tighter sketch over it to use as a guide.
Build in Illustrator
Using my tight sketch, I build out all the shapes in Adobe Illustrator. I use a combination of the pencil, pen, and shape tools.
Textures & Shadows
I import each shape on its own layer in Photoshop, and then add paper textures and drop shadows to bring it to life. And that’s a wrap!
